Mr. Capalot was the other title for the Chicago Illinois rapper Polo Capalot. His popularity grew after he posted tracks on YouTube. The rapper first released songs such as The Come Up and Never Cared and then made his debut on SoundCloud by releasing a mixtape called OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUNDCLOUD. Gang With Me became his debut number one hit single. The track was followed by The Finer Thing. He wrote the latter while in jail. It proved to be the single that made him famous and gained million of hits on YouTube and brought him into spotlight. Record labels from major companies began to show interest. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay, was finally released after the rapper had signed the Columbia Records distribution agreement. It was viewed hundreds of millions of times on YouTube, and it reached the 22nd spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time Polo G has charted a song. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of fame via other social media websites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
