Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first few minutes. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in third round TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward for her performance during the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in some great exchanges between the two fighters, was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7 on ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
