Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. She's English but her father was Nigerian. She grew on the South London council estate, and when she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While attending the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, including The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha as a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi who was the leading character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also appeared on the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her credits in theatre include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport on the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for the duration of two weeks The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that she would quit the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode of the third season. Between 2014 and 2016she appeared in Salem in the role of Tituba. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Her parents were Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, as well as both during spring and summer. Ashley could never walk, however she did dance. At the age of two, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in with. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, jazz and tap in the high divisions. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
