Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actor working in television, film, and theater. She's been an professional actor for 27 years. She first made an appearance on stage in an off-Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. A year later she was offered her first TV role in The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she earned her big break by playing an extra character in the movie Basic Instinct. In The Firm, she played the lead female role for the very first time. The film was filmed with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she worked with many top actors in Hollywood, like Gwyneth paltrow and Hugh Grant. Most recently, she played in the role of the character of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.

He later became a coach after he ceased playing. Lexi's two older brothers which are described in the next paragraphs are also both professionals golfers. Lexis did her own homeschooling during high school. In September 2012, she was accepted to Louisiana State University for an undergraduate diploma. She must be a graduate at this point, however her grade from her educational institution is still unknown. As a daughter of golfers Lexis couldn't have been a novice to the predominantly masculine sports. At the young age of 12, she was the youngest participant to compete in the US Women's Open. Although she didn't win however, in 2007, she took home the Aldila Junior Classic and became the second. As well as becoming one of the youngest American Junior Golf Association, (AJGA) winner of the award at the time as well as the youngest player to take home the Westfield Junior PGA Championship.
