Melissa Suzanne George is an actress businesswoman inventor and model from Australia. When she began her career in her native country she then moved to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant success there. George is a Perth native, who was attracted at first in artistic roller skating and dancing. She started her modelling career at the age of teen and was awarded the title of Western Australia's Teenage Model for the year in 1992. In 1992, her first screen appearance was on an episode of the Seven Network soap opera Home and Away. The film she made her debut with Dark City. Later, she took on minor roles like Alias The Limey in Down with Love. In the end In The Amityville Horror 2005 remake she became the first female character in the history of a Hollywood mainstream project. She's among America's most sought after Australian ex-pats.
